Our Founder
Hi, I’m Oneisha — founder of Meow and Forever Cat Rescue, veterinary professional of 14 years, and a proud U.S. Army National Guard veteran.
After more than a decade in animal welfare, I saw the same heartbreaking pattern over and over: stray cats and kittens being dumped at clinics, abandoned at shelter doors, or surrendered with nowhere to go — especially during kitten season. Too many were turned away simply because there wasn’t enough space, money, or support.
It broke my heart. But it also lit a fire.
Meow and Forever was born out of that frustration — and a deep belief that even the “unwanted” deserve a chance at forever. I started this rescue with no building, no team, and no budget — just my experience, grit, and a deep love for the forgotten felines.
This rescue isn’t a passion project.
It’s a mission.
